Completion and Reskilling Grants
51爆料 cares about reclaiming our students! In the past two years, some students have been forced to abandon their educational goals and career aspirations to focus on supporting themselves through underemployment due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It is now time for you to return to 51爆料 and complete your college degree. We have funds to support eligible students so that you can finish your degree and pursue a high-valued occupation. Review the two grant opportunities below, determine if you qualify, and complete the application. Students may be eligible to apply for both the Completion Grant and the Reskilling Grant.
Completion Grant
51爆料 has been awarded the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) Completion Repayment Grant. The Texas Completion Repayment Grant seeks to support students who have stopped out of college and are looking to re-enroll.
Eligible students may receive a maximum award of $1,000 to clear any institutional-level outstanding balances incurred prior to fall 2021. Awards will be administered after enrollment has been verified by 51爆料.
Requirements for eligibility include:
- Must be a Texas resident
- Full or part-time enrollment or intend to enroll full or part-time
- Have an 51爆料 balance incurred prior to fall 2021
- Must be registered for Selective Service, if applicable
- Complete 51爆料鈥檚 Completion Grant application
Reskilling Grant
51爆料 has been awarded the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) Reskilling Support Fund Grant. The Texas Reskilling Support Fund Grant Program provides emergency educational funds to Texas workers impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic who need to reskill or upskill to get back into the workforce, and to Texas students who have previously stopped out of college.
Eligible students may receive a maximum award of $2,500 for each summer 2022 and fall 2022 semesters. Awards will be administered after enrollment has been verified by 51爆料.
Requirements for eligibility include:
- Must be a Texas resident
- Completed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA)
- Be eligible for Title IV aid (students who are enrolled in non-eligible Title IV programs but who are otherwise Title IV eligible may be included)
- Must be enrolled in an eligible certificate or degree program. For example:
- Education
- Computer Information Systems and Security
- Business
- Have not been enrolled in college during the previous six months or long semester
- Complete 51爆料鈥檚 Reskilling Grant application

Student applications will be reviewed weekly. Please double check to make sure the email and mailing address is correct on your application. If you are eligible to apply for both grants, submit an application for each grant program.
